Description

Berried Treasure Pie, brought to you by my BFF Donna. Graham cracker crust, cream cheese, cool whip, lemon pudding and strawberries and yes it tastes as good as it sounds. In my opinion this is a perfect cool and refreshing summertime desert.

Ingredients

1 gram cracker pie crust, 9 inch 8 ounce cream cheese, softened 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons milk 2 cups of strawberries, hulled and cut in half (Reserve 4 strawberry to garnis) 8 ounce tub of cool whip, thawed 1 pkg (3.4 oz) Vanilla or Lemon instant pudding 1 cup milk

Instructions

Add the package of instant pudding and 1 cup milk into a bowl and whisk to combine, set aside to allow to set up slightly as you prepare the strawberries. Fold about 1 cup (About ¼ of the tub) cool whip into the pudding till blended. Add softened cream cheese, sugar and milk and whisk to combine till smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Arrange the strawberry evenly over the top of the cream cheese, lightly press each berry into the cream cheese. Evenly spread the pudding over top of the strawberries and chill for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight. Before serving evenly spread the remaining cool whip on top of the chilled pie and garnish with remaining strawberries.
